EchoLocal an offline-first voice recorder with on-device transcription and local backup. Your data stays on your device.
EchoLocal stores the information you enter (profiles, schedules, settings, and usage data) locally on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that receives your data.
EchoLocal only accesses the microphone while you are actively recording. Both the audio files and any on-device transcription generated from them are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to a server.
Only to provide the app's features on your device. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are used.
EchoLocal may request: microphone, notifications, background recording indicator. Each is used only for the stated feature and can be managed in your device settings.
Optional purchases are processed by Google Play Billing under Google's Privacy Policy. We never receive your payment details — the transaction itself is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
